Who we are
In Mexico, millions of girls and boys grow up without ever hearing a string quartet or a live metal quintet. Not for lack of curiosity. — but for lack of access.
Fundación Música que Humaniza was born to change that.
We are a non-profit organization registered in Mexico (CLUNI: MQH23110319DS9) that carries classical music concerts, for free, to public and private schools throughout the country. Our model is simple: donors and sponsors fund the experience; schools and their students live it.
"I thought it was a new experience. One that allowed me to appreciate the details in the music — like the sound of the violin bird in the 'Spring', the grave of the cello, the middle of the cello, the acute of the violin. "— Student, secondary participant, Monterrey metropolitan area
Mission

Take classical music to the schools of Mexico through interactive concerts and performed by professional assemblies — so that every young man, regardless of his context, has at least a significant encounter with this cultural heritage of humanity.
Vision

A Mexico where every child, child and young person has had the experience of listening to live classical music. Where culture is not a privilege of few, but an experience accessible to all.
Values
At the heart of our work are the values that guide each visit to a school, every essay and every musical note:
| Cultural accessibility | We believe that classical music must be a cultural right, not a privilege. That's why we take the concerts directly to where the young people are, in their places of learning and leisure. |
| Significant interaction | We don't just play for them: we talk, ask, and answer. Our approach is participatory, for the experience to be alive and memorable, being an interactive experience. |
| Artistic excellence | Our assemblies are made up of professional musicians committed to offering quality interpretations, without concessions. Audits are conducted and proposals received by artists are reviewed before they are presented in schools. |
| Empathy and respect | We approach each community with openness, humility, and appreciation for the diversity of contexts. |
| Accountability | Every concert is documented. We share our impact with transparency with those who support us. |
